-

MIRANDA GONZALEZ
2027 + Art Education
Owner of Dazed Mir
I have been exploring the relationship between technical and artistic balance lately in my work. Essentially: how can I create functional artwork that still holds a sense of my artistic vision so that the content of the piece is both interesting to me and to my audience. Therefore, that’s what a lot of my products will encompass! I want to create items that will be useful for my buyers – whether because it is practical or because it is fun – and that hold my engagement throughout its process. I especially want to preach that imperfection and exploration in art is just as crucial as creating a “visually pleasing” piece.
-

AVA GRAHAM
2027 + Studio Art
Owner of Everything Under the Sun
To show people student’s creative work and to support small businesses.
-

MADDIE SIMMONS
2028 + Psychology
Owner of Wild Willow Clay
My mission is to share the beauty and wonder of ceramics while also being an example of someone who incorporates minimalism and eco-consciousness in my personal and professional life. I’d like to represent the correlation between the Earth itself and living as a human being by making a focus of my business to be natural clay forming a reliable aid in one’s everyday life. Using this example, I would want to continue spreading the ideology that you don’t need to buy everything at store corporations; many things that you can make on your own can be great products that are organic, non-toxic, sustainable, and/or reduce your consumerism, therefore saving you money.
